OVERVIEW OF THE HEP-UK

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM!
The HEP-UK is available only in The United Kingdom and you will leave Bangkok in January or July. The complete HEP-UK programs takes about two and half years, depending on your study results and where you will complete the thesis. During this time you will get International work experience in at least two different hotels where you work for 5 days or 40 hours per week in a department that fits your career interests. You can choose a placement in departments such as Restaurant Service, Banqueting, Bar or Kitchen. A few places are available in Front Office.
Throughout your placement you will study at the Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies of the University of Birmingham as a Master Degree student. You will study in so-called block-study. During each study block you will travel for one week to the College in Birmingham where you will study full time. After you successfully passed all academic requirements, you will be awarded the Master of Arts in Hospitality Management, accredited by the University of Birmingham.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE MASTER DEGREE!
The HEP-UK is a step-by-step way that brings you to your Master Degree. The HEP-UK covers four steps. You may decide to finish the HEP-UK after each step and below you can see the certificate, Diploma or Degree you will receive. To receive your Masters of Art in Hospitality Management, you must successfully complete all four steps.

The Pre-Master Module prepares you for the study program at the College. During the PM program, you will study three blocs at the College that will cover Academic English, Research Techniques and Business Writing. During the Post Graduate Program and during the Master of Arts Program, you will study a total of six modules at the College.
To complete the Master Degree you must first pass the modules with an average score of 50%. If you have done that, the Committee of the Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative Studies will allow you to write the Thesis. For your thesis, you have a choice to complete it in The United Kingdom or in Thailand.

WHO CAN JOIN THIS PROGRAM?
Young and ambitious Thai people, who have a Bachelor Degree in the field of Hospitality and/or Tourism, who aim for a management career in the hospitality industry and who meet the following criteria, can join this program
- Alumni of the HEP in The Netherlands or Belgium
- Age minimum 24 years
- A Bachelor Degree in a relevant field
- Positive, optimistic nature and a very high motivation
- Minimum two years experience in the hospitality industry
- IELTS score of minimum 5,0

HOW CAN I APPY FOR THIS PROGRAM?

- Attach two color picture of 2"
- Download the Approval Letter and fill the form completely
- Attach your Reference Letters, Diplomas, Certificates etc
- Make a copy of your passport
- Make a copy of your study transcript

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY?
The program is sponsored by the British hotels and the program partners. During the program, all your expenses (including your living expenses) are covered! You have a minimum personal contribution and a refundable deposit of 10,000 Baht. You will have also have some miscellaneous expenses for documents airport taxes.
